Don Pepin Garcia E.R.H Toro Gordo is the 6 inch by 60 size of the El Rey de los Habanos revival, named for the brand where Pepín García started. The Ecuadorian Sumatra rosado oscuro wrapper sits over Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Condega, Estelí and Jalapa. Made in Nicaragua, it is medium in body with peppery notes and spices, toasted cedar, earth and a mineral edge. Cigar Aficionado rated the line 92 points.
The Toro Gordo stretches the E.R.H into a long, cool smoke suited to the lounge. At the Sun of a Gun bar it pairs with a rye, a bourbon or a Highland Scotch, or with a strong coffee. Offered by the single, the five-pack or the box of 20.
