Buffalo Trace Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon made at 113 Great Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, Kentucky, from the distillery's Mash Bill #1. It is aged in new charred oak barrels inside century-old warehouses and bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV).

The name recalls the ancient buffalo paths that led early pioneers west; one of them runs right through the distillery grounds. Vanilla, mint and molasses shape the nose. Brown sugar and spice meet oak and toffee on the palate, with dark fruit and anise, and the finish is long and smooth, with real depth.
