CAO Flavours Moontrance Petit Corona (4 x 40) layers a caramel-bourbon vanilla extract with Georgia peach and a finish of Hawaiian white honey over a Cameroon wrapper, Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Dominican filler. Made in the Dominican Republic and mild in strength, it reads as caramel, sweet stone fruit and a bourbon-vanilla note, with the tobacco kept quietly in the background.
In the Sun of a Gun humidor the petit corona is the short-format entry to the CAO Flavours range, a twenty-minute smoke. The maker suggests a rye whiskey or a Syrah alongside it, and it sits just as well with coffee. Offered by the single, the five-pack or the box of 25.
