Caposaldo Prosecco Rosé Brut
Caposaldo Prosecco Rosé Brut is a Prosecco DOC Rosé Brut from Caposaldo, made from 85% Glera and 15% Pinot Noir grown in northern Italy's Veneto and Friuli-Venezia regions. The grapes are hand-picked and vinified the same day. The Pinot Noir is drawn off its skins after a 24 to 36 hour maceration, fermented in stainless steel, and the wine rests in autoclave for 20 to 30 days.
Caposaldo describes a bright, sparkling pink wine with a fine, persistent perlage and fragrant notes of wild strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants and cherries that give way to peaches, apricots and a floral flourish. Those fresh, fruity notes carry onto the palate and into a long, lingering finish.
