Cohiba Rubicon Toro is a 6 by 54 toro built from six tobaccos grown in five countries: an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a US Broadleaf binder and filler from Dominican Piloto, Honduran La Entrada and Jamastran and Nicaraguan Estelí. Made at the HATSA factory in Honduras, it is medium-bodied and creamy, with hazelnut, cocoa and herbal notes, a sour-cherry turn and a toasted-marshmallow finish.
The orange-banded Rubicon is the Cohiba for a guest who wants complexity without heavy strength, and the toro gives it an unhurried run. At Sun of a Gun it pairs with a bourbon, an aged rum or a glass of Syrah from the bar. Offered by the single, the five-pack or the box of 20.
