DAOU Sauvignon Blanc
DAOU Sauvignon Blanc is a Paso Robles Sauvignon Blanc from DAOU Vineyards, founded in 2007. It belongs to the DAOU Collection, a line the winery dedicates to the Paso Robles region. DAOU says the fruit comes predominantly from vineyards in the Highlands District and El Pomar District AVAs of Paso Robles.
For the 2023 vintage, DAOU notes scents of ripe pear, grapefruit, lemon and freshly cut grass with key lime zest, guava and melon. The palate is lush, clean and balanced, with kiwi, quince, Granny Smith apple and passionfruit, and the clean finish lingers with white peach, green apple and Asian pear.
At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we pour it by the glass and offer it by the bottle. Our cellar changes as bottles are opened and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
