Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Selectos is the 5 inch by 50 robusto of a line named for Jaime and Janny García. Its butterscotch-brown Corojo rosado wrapper sits over Nicaraguan binder and Corojo and Criollo long fillers, rolled in Nicaragua. Three-quarter to full in body, it delivers earth tones, ginger and cedar, spicy pepper and dark-roast coffee, and a subtle sweetness on the finish.
The Selectos is the format for a focused forty-five minutes of the JJ blend. From the Sun of a Gun bar it pairs with a bourbon, a rye or an aged rum, and it is a good companion to a strong coffee. Offered by the single, the five-pack or the box of 20.
