Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon

Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, bottled one barrel at a time at 100 proof (50% ABV). Every bottle comes from recipe OBSV, which joins the rye-forward B mash bill with the V yeast strain.

OBSV is one of ten Four Roses recipes built from two mash bills and five proprietary yeasts, and the distillery describes its character as delicate fruit and rye. Four Roses states that the bourbon is aged seven to nine years. Dried spice, pear and cocoa open the nose with vanilla and maple syrup; ripe plum and cherries follow on the palate, and the finish is smooth and delicately long.
