Glenfarclas 12 Year Scotch Whisky

Glenfarclas 12 Year Scotch Whisky is a twelve-year-old Speyside single malt from Glenfarclas Distillery, distilled twice in traditional direct-fired stills and bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof).

Its casks are European oak that previously held Oloroso sherry, chosen by John Grant from a single family-run bodega in Spain. The Grant family bought the distillery on June 8, 1865, and still runs it as an independent family company.

Light sherried fruit, spicy sweetness and a hint of sappy oak lead the nose. The palate is full-bodied with sherried fruit, oak and sweetness, and the finish is long and flavorful, with lingering spice.
