Macanudo Gold Label Crystal is a 5 1/2 by 50 robusto in a glass crystal tube. This limited line uses only first and second primings: a Connecticut Golden Shade wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder and Mexican and Dominican Piloto Cubano filler, handcrafted in the Dominican Republic. Mild in strength, it is sweet and creamy with almonds and a bright, lemony edge.
Gold Label is the most refined of the mellow Macanudos, and the crystal tube suits it as a gift. At Sun of a Gun it pairs with a coffee, an IPA or a light Irish whiskey from the bar. Offered by the single, the five-pack or the box of 8.
