Old Forester 1897 Bourbon is a Bottled-in-Bond bourbon whisky from Old Forester Distilling Company in Louisville, aged at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).

It honors the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 and its rule of one distillation season, one distiller and one distillery, and it belongs to the Whiskey Row Series that Old Forester introduced in 2014. The nose gathers caramel, vanilla bean and dried fruit with sweet leather and cured tobacco. Sticky toffee and smoky wood lead the palate into figs, dates and raisins, and the finish carries deep fruit, spice, oak, dark caramel and vanilla.
