Penfolds Bin 311 Chardonnay is a cool-climate Australian Chardonnay from Penfolds, which has made wine since 1844. Since the 2017 release the fruit has come from several regions instead of one, chiefly Tasmania, Tumbarumba and the Adelaide Hills. The wine is barrel fermented and matured in new and seasoned French oak; the 2024 spent eight months in barriques.

Penfolds describes the Bin 311 style as lemon and lime aromas over a mineral acid backbone. Its notes for the 2024 mention mandarin, struck flint, finger lime and orange blossom on the nose, and a palate with a marzipan note, energetic acidity and a fine chalky texture.
