San Lotano Maduro Gran Toro is the 6 x 60 of AJ Fernandez's maduro take on his grandfather's Cuban-era blend. A dark, oily Mexican San Andrés wrapper covers a Honduran binder and Nicaraguan and Honduran long fillers, rolled in Estelí. Medium in body and creamy, with cocoa, espresso and spice, black pepper and a sweet earthiness.
