Siete Leguas Añejo Tequila
Siete Leguas Añejo Tequila is aged 18 months in American oak. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave by Tequila Siete Leguas (NOM 1120) in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, it is blended from the house's two fábricas, El Centenario and La Vencedora.
The agave is crushed by tahona and roller mill, then double-distilled in copper pot stills; Siete Leguas was established in 1952. Vanilla, cooked agave and cinnamon lead the nose. Dried fruit, orange, vanilla, oak and coffee follow on the palate, and the finish is long and smooth, with oak, vanilla and a subtle sweetness.
At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we pour it by the glass as a single or a double, with bottles to go (700 mL). Our shelf changes as bottles are poured and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
