St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur

St. Germain Elderflower is a French elderflower liqueur, bottled at 20% ABV (40 proof). Its fresh elderflowers are hand-picked once a year, in late spring, in the foothills of the French Alps.

Up to 1,000 elderflower blossoms go into every bottle, macerated in an eau-de-vie made from Chardonnay and Gamay grapes. The nose suggests lychee, peach nectar and sweet blossom. On the palate come pear, elderflower and elderberry with tangy citrus, and the finish is long, fresh and balanced.
