The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142 David is the 5 x 54 perfecto from Foundation's David and Goliath pairing, named for the underdog who prevailed. The Connecticut-grown Havana seed wrapper, aged three more years in Nicaragua, covers a Mexican San Andrés binder and fillers from Estelí, Jalapa and Jamastran. Medium-full, with cedar, warm spice, deep earth and a natural sweetness.
A figurado that opens gently and builds, well matched at Sun of a Gun to a sherried Scotch or a wheated bourbon. Offered by the single, the five-pack or the box of 25.
