Tullamore Dew 12 Year Irish Whiskey, known in full as the 12 Year Old Special Reserve, is a blended Irish whiskey with a high proportion of pot still and malt whiskeys. The brand states that its whiskeys are matured for 12 to 15 years in bourbon and sherry casks, and it is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).

Tullamore describes a character of chocolate, dried fruit and nut, and praline. Roasted nuts, red wine, cherry blossom and citrus zest open the nose, while cinnamon spice, sherry, vanilla and whipped cream follow on the palate. The finish is long and smooth, with sherry, dark chocolate and almond butter.
