The American is hand-rolled in The American Room at J.C. Newman's historic El Reloj cigar factory in Tampa, Florida. The Toro is a 6 x 54 and one of the four sizes in which the line was first released.
What sets The American apart is the origin of its tobacco, all of it grown in the United States. The wrapper is Florida Sun Grown leaf from Clermont, Florida. Beneath it sit a Connecticut broadleaf binder from Windsor, Connecticut, and a filler blend of Pennsylvania tobacco and Havana-seed leaf grown in Connecticut.
