About Ashton Classic
The blend is a golden Connecticut Shade wrapper over Dominican binder and filler aged three to four years. Ashton rates it mild and lists cream, coffee bean, almond, cashew and cedar. Ashton cites a 92 from Cigar Aficionado in February 2023 for the line. Among the sizes we carry, Cigar Aficionado scored the Corona 90 in December 2015, the Monarch 88 in August 2016 and the Churchill 88 in April 2021 and 86 in June 2023. The Majesty joined in 2007; Cigar Aficionado reported then that it used its own all-Dominican interior blend, slightly stronger than the standard Classic.
