Oliva Serie V is a blend of Nicaraguan long filler with specially fermented Jalapa Valley ligero under a high-priming sun-grown wrapper, which Oliva lists as Ecuadorian. Oliva describes complex tobacco with rich coffee and dark chocolate tones and a subtle, well-balanced spice throughout. Cigar Aficionado reported a soft launch in June 2007 and an official debut at that August's trade show in Houston. Serie V sizes have made Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 nine times between 2007 and 2022, and we list every one of those sizes.

About Oliva Serie V

What to pour with Serie V
Our pairing guide offers two routes. Echo the cocoa of Serie V Maduro with a sherry-cask Scotch or an aged rum, or set the spice of the sun-grown Serie V against a sweet, caramel-forward bourbon. More in our cigar and whiskey pairing guide.
