About Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Cigars
Rare Pink is Fuente's Vintage 1960's series, named for the 1960s that shaped a young Carlito. Every size is a hand-rolled figurado with an Ecuadorian wrapper from the Oliva Tobacco Co. over a Dominican binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan filler, made at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. in the Dominican Republic.

Why the boxes are pink
Carlito's daughter, Liana Fuente, championed the project, and a portion of the proceeds from every box goes to breast cancer research. Pink is the color of the breast cancer awareness movement, and Fuente has timed shipments for October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The line debuted in late 2020 with four sizes; the Queen of Hearts and Sophisticated Hooker joined in 2022.

Does Rare Pink support breast cancer research? Yes. A portion of the proceeds from every box goes to breast cancer research, which is why the boxes are pink.
How is Rare Pink different from the Hemingway? Three Rare Pink sizes share their names with the Arturo Fuente Hemingway line, but Rare Pink is a different blend under a darker Ecuadorian wrapper rather than the Hemingway's Cameroon, and Cigar Aficionado calls it stronger and more robust.
Is Black Pink the same cigar? No. Fuente's Black Pink, released in 2026, is a separate, darker blend with a Connecticut-grown Habano-seed wrapper. Fuente has said Black Pink proceeds are not earmarked for breast cancer research, while the original Rare Pink remains dedicated to the cause.
