Rocky Patel introduced Emerald to retailers on its summer 2024 road show and began shipping it in December 2024. Rocky Patel calls it its first box-pressed cigar designed to be on the lighter side of medium-bodied. The blend is an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over two binders, Nicaraguan and Mexican, with Nicaraguan filler and a leaf from Honduras's Jamastran Valley. It is made in Nicaragua; Cigar Aficionado and halfwheel name Tabacalera Villa Cuba (TAVICUSA) in Estelí.

The Emerald Robusto was No. 6 on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 for 2025, at 95 points, with notes of ground coffee, leather and hickory and a touch of black pepper. Cigar Aficionado rates the Robusto medium to full, and its sister newsletter Cigar Insider rated the Sixty the same, a step above Rocky Patel's own "medium".
