Cohiba Connecticut Gigante
The Cohiba Connecticut Gigante is a 6 x 60 gordo in an Ecuadorian-grown Connecticut Shade wrapper from General Cigar's Dominican-made Cohiba, sold by the single from our walk-in humidor at Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits, an official J.C. Newman Diamond Crown Cigar Lounge in Yuma, Arizona.
General Cigar released Cohiba Connecticut in March 2019. Its wrapper comes from Ecuador's Los Ríos province, where it grows under natural cloud cover instead of cloth. Beneath it sit a Mexican San Andrés binder and a filler that includes Brazilian Mata Fina, Dominican Piloto Cubano and Nicaraguan Jalapa tobacco, all rolled at General Cigar Dominicana.

Cigar Aficionado's Cigar Insider found a rich draw on the Gigante, with smoke centered on wood plus touches of grain and sweet tea before a sweet close. halfwheel's review of the 6 1/2 x 52 Toro noted cedar, cream, honey and bread, later lemon, earth and nuts.
