Muestra de Saka Unstolen Valor
Muestra de Saka Unstolen Valor, sold by the single from our walk-in humidor at Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits, an official J.C. Newman Diamond Crown Cigar Lounge in Yuma, Arizona. The stock shown here is the same stock on our shelf.
Muestra de Saka, Spanish for "Samples of Saka," is the one-size, one-blend series from Steve Saka's Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, where each release gets its own vitola and its own blend, and Saka works with leaf or formats outside his regular lines. Unstolen Valor is a toro and a Nicaraguan puro. It was announced as Stolen Valor and renamed ahead of its release, a change Saka shared on Instagram.
Because each Muestra de Saka is its own blend and size, the series rewards side-by-side tasting. We also carry the Muestra de Saka Exclusivo, the first release in the series and a 6 x 52 toro like this one, and the Muestra de Saka Nacatamale, a 6 x 48 short churchill with a fan-tail cap.
- Size: 6 x 52
- Shape: Toro
- Origin: Nicaraguan puro
- Maker: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust

How to enjoy it
We have not found a published tasting note or rating for Unstolen Valor, so this is general guidance for a Nicaraguan toro. Give it a straight cut and an even light, and take your time: a 6 x 52 is a longer smoke than a robusto. Nicaraguan tobacco often leans toward pepper, earth and wood, which sits well with an aged rum or a bourbon from our bar. More from Nicaragua is in Nicaraguan cigars.
