Buffalo Trace and E.H. Taylor cigars
Scandinavian Tobacco Group, parent of General Cigar and Cigars International, partners with Sazerac Co., owner of Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, on cigars that carry its bourbon brands. Meier & Dutch, the group's wholesale arm, distributes them, as halfwheel has reported.
- Buffalo Trace Toro (6 x 52), from the line launched in June 2021: made at General Cigar Dominicana in Santiago, Dominican Republic, with an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, a Brazilian Arapiraca binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan filler. halfwheel noted it is neither infused nor aged in Buffalo Trace barrels.
- E.H. Taylor Corojo: Corona (6 x 46) and Robusto (5 x 50). An Ecuadorian corojo wrapper over a binder from Jalapa, Nicaragua and Dominican filler, made at Tabacalera La Isla in Santiago, and blended to pair with E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch bourbon.
- E.H. Taylor San Andrés: Corona (6 x 46), Robusto (5 x 50) and Toro Gordo (6 x 56). A Mexican San Andrés wrapper over Nicaraguan filler, made at Tabacalera La Isla and intended to pair with E.H. Taylor, Jr. Four Grain bourbon. Neither E.H. Taylor line uses barrel-aged tobacco.

Pappy Van Winkle Barrel Fermented
Drew Estate makes this cigar with Pappy & Company, and says its Kentucky fire-cured wrapper leaf is fermented in retired Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels. halfwheel notes that Pappy Van Winkle whiskey is made at Buffalo Trace while the brand is owned by the Van Winkle family. We carry the Robusto, Toro and Churchill.

Are Buffalo Trace cigars infused with bourbon? The original Buffalo Trace line is not: halfwheel reported it is neither infused nor aged in Buffalo Trace barrels. Later releases, the Special F and the Limited Edition 2025, used a binder aged in Buffalo Trace barrels.
