Pappy Van Winkle Barrel Fermented is made by Drew Estate with Pappy & Company, the Van Winkle family's company. Kentucky fire-cured tobacco is fermented under heavy pressure in retired Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels, then used as a tapa negra wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés base wrapper, with Nicaraguan binder and aged Nicaraguan filler. Charred oak, a scotch-like peatiness and burnt coffee.
The Robusto at 5 1/4 x 52, a brick-and-mortar exclusive.
