Hawaii's air is warm and humid, so the care is about heat and dampness rather than dryness. Keep cigars sealed with their Boveda pack, which Boveda describes as two-way humidity control, out of direct sun and away from the lanai. Yuma keeps Arizona time, three hours ahead of Hawaii, so the lounge's hours, Sunday to Thursday 9 AM to 11 PM and Friday and Saturday 9 AM to 1 AM Arizona time, run from 6 AM to 8 PM and 6 AM to 10 PM in Honolulu. Call 928-276-3500 in those hours to talk to a tobacconist or to walk the humidor on FaceTime; online orders can be placed at any hour and leave the humidor within 1–2 business days.

Humidity care, island edition

In warm, humid air the risk is too much moisture rather than too little. Boveda describes its packs as two-way humidity control, adding moisture when the air is dry and absorbing it when it is damp, and calls its 69% pack the most universal choice for wood and acrylic humidors.
