The Gran Toro 54 is the biggest Angelenos and one of two sizes Prometheus brought back in 2026, along with the Toro; halfwheel reported that both had been discontinued in 2016 and returned in boxes of 25. Like the rest of the line, it is rolled at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. with an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper over Dominican binder and filler.
Angelenos launched in 2009 as Prometheus's tribute to Los Angeles, and the name is the word for the people of that city. Carlos Fuente Sr., the Fuente family patriarch, blended it.
