Liga Privada No. 9 is the blend that made Drew Estate's name in traditional cigars. Jonathan Drew mixed it for himself and never meant to sell it; customers who smoked it at the factory would not stop asking.

About Liga Privada No. 9
The blend
Dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Brazilian Mata Fina binder, with Nicaraguan and Honduran filler. Full-bodied from the first third — dark chocolate, espresso, earth and pepper, with the oily sweetness Broadleaf gives.
The sizes
Robusto, Toro, Corona Viva, Belicoso, Corona Doble and the collector-favorite Flying Pig. The Corona Viva's slimmer 46 ring puts the most wrapper in each draw; the Corona Doble runs close to two hours.
No. 9 or T52?
No. 9 leans dark and sweet. T52 uses a stalk-cut Habano wrapper and runs brighter and spicier. Most smokers prefer one clearly — try a single of each before buying a box.
