Ardbeg Anthology 14 Year Scotch Whisky

Ardbeg Anthology 14 Year Scotch Whisky, in full Ardbeg Anthology: The Unicorn's Tale, is a fourteen-year-old Islay single malt drawn from a marriage of Madeira and bourbon casks and bottled without chill filtration.

It forms the second chapter of Ardbeg's limited Anthology series, and its name recalls a unicorn said to have been sighted at the distillery. Baked banana bread, syrupy sponge pudding, cedarwood and tropical fruit rise from the glass. On the palate, lime and peach meet smoked fruit, baked bread, barley, nutmeg and peat smoke, while the long, smoky finish carries menthol, clove, wood smoke and camphor.
