Ardbeg Smokiverse Scotch Whisky is the Ardbeg Day limited edition released to mark 25 years of the Ardbeg Committee. The Islay single malt carries no age statement, is matured in ex-bourbon American oak and is bottled without chill filtration at 48.3% ABV (96.6 proof).

It began as a high-gravity mashing experiment built on a highly concentrated wort. Fruity esters, smoked bubblegum, ripening barley and toasted sourdough lead the nose. The palate is rich and creamy, with soot, creosote, aniseed, clove and muscovado sugar, before a very long finish of earthy peat moss and bonfire embers.
