Ardbeg Uigeadail Scotch Whisky is named for Loch Uigeadail, the source of Ardbeg Distillery's water; pronounced 'Oog-a-dal', the Gaelic name means 'dark and mysterious place'. This Islay single malt carries no age statement, draws on ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, and is bottled without chill filtration at 54.2% ABV (108.4 proof).

Fruit cake, walnut oil and Parma violet mingle with sea spice, cedar and pine needles. The palate is deep with treacle, winter spice, smoked meats and dense smoke, and a rich, mouth-coating finish carries winter spice and honey-glazed smoky notes.
