Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon

Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon is a Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon from Hope Family Wines. Owner and winemaker Austin Hope created his namesake label in 2000 and released its first Cabernet Sauvignon in 2017. Fruit comes from vineyards across the Paso Robles AVA; the 2023 release drew on six of its districts and spent 15 months in French oak before blending.

Of the 2023 release, the winery notes aromas of black currant, ripe cherry and blackberry with violets, mocha and dried spices. The palate is full-bodied, with olallieberry and cherry fruit, cedar, clove, nutmeg and vanilla bean, fresh acidity, polished tannins and a long, smooth finish.
