The AVO Heritage Robusto is a 4⅞ x 50 robusto with an Ecuador sun-grown wrapper, made at O.K. Cigars in the Dominican Republic and sold by the single, the 5-pack or the box of 20 at Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits, an official J.C. Newman Diamond Crown Cigar Lounge in Yuma, Arizona.
AVO Heritage arrived in 2010 from O.K. Cigars in the Dominican Republic, according to halfwheel, with an Ecuador sun-grown wrapper, a Dominican binder and five Dominican fillers. AVO marketed it among its strongest and fullest blends. AVO began in 1987, when jazz pianist Avo Uvezian worked with Hendrik "Henke" Kelner, later Davidoff's longtime master blender, on a cigar first sold in Puerto Rico as Bolero and renamed AVO in 1988; Davidoff has distributed the brand since 1995.
The Robusto is a 4⅞ x 50, boxed in 20s; the larger size we carry is the Heritage Toro, a 6 x 50.
