Balvenie 18 Year French Pineau Scotch Whisky is a limited edition from The Balvenie's 'A Collection of Curious Casks': an eighteen-year-old Speyside single malt bottled at 47.9% ABV (95.8 proof).

The whisky spends ten years in ex-bourbon and European oak before an unhurried eight-year finish in casks that held Pineau from the Charentes vineyards of France.

Velvety sweetness, rich toffee, smoldering oak, citrus and honey musk define the nose. Candied orange peel, roasted malt, earthy wood and deep vanilla oak fill the palate, and the finish is long and lingering.
