Belvedere Vodka
Belvedere Vodka is a Polish rye vodka made at Żyrardów, where the distillery was built in 1910, and bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof). The bottle depicts Belweder, the presidential palace in Warsaw.
It begins with Polish Dankowskie rye from nearby farms, blended with the distillery's artesian well water. The spirit is distilled four times: once at an agricultural distillery, then three more times at the Belvedere distillery.
The nose is clean, with faint citrus zest, florals and rye bread crust. Silky and creamy on the palate, it shows vanilla, almond and mild black pepper, finishing with peppery spice, a grassy note and soft vanilla.
At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we pour it by the glass as a single or a double, with bottles to go (1 L). Our shelf changes as bottles are poured and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
