Beringer Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Beringer Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 is a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from Beringer, blended from 98% Cabernet Sauvignon with 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. Each vineyard lot was harvested and vinified separately, then aged 18 months in French oak, 90% of it new. Howell Mountain vineyards including Steinhauer Ranch and Bancroft Ranch form the foundation of the 2018 blend, joined by St. Helena fruit from the Home Vineyard and Chabot Vineyard.
Beringer describes ripe notes of blackberry, black cherry, crème de cassis and dark plum, with layers of wild bramble berry, violets, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, graphite and tobacco spice. The winery notes full-bodied ripe tannins, balanced acidity and a long, persistent, textured finish.
At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we offer it by the bottle. Our cellar changes as bottles are opened and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
