Blackened Rabbit Hole American Whiskey is the 2023 release in BLACKENED's Masters of Whiskey Series, created with Rabbit Hole founder Kaveh Zamanian. It marries a 13-year-old straight Tennessee bourbon with Rabbit Hole's Heigold High Rye Double Malt Kentucky straight bourbon, then finishes the blend in Calvados casks.

Bottled at cask strength, 106.59 proof, and without chill filtration, it opens with apple butter, rhubarb, honeysuckle, graham cracker and macadamia. Ripe pear, cinnamon, clover and honey follow on the palate, edged with campfire smoke and black walnut.
