Bruichladdich Octomore 15.2 Scotch Whisky

Bruichladdich Octomore 15.2 Scotch Whisky is a super heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich Distillery, aged five years and bottled at 57.9% ABV (115.8 proof).

It is distilled from 100% Scottish barley peated to 108.2 PPM, the same batch used for Octomore 15.1, and matured in second-fill wine and second-fill bourbon casks before a finish in first-fill French ex-Cognac casks. It spends its entire maturation on Islay, is reduced with Islay spring water, and bottled un-chill filtered and without coloring.

Bruichladdich's notes point to nutmeg, toasted oak and caramel, lifted by delicate floral tones.
