Bushmills 12 Year Irish Whiskey

Bushmills 12 Year Irish Whiskey is a single malt from the Old Bushmills Distillery in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, triple distilled from 100% malted barley and bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof). It matures for at least 11 years in former sherry and bourbon casks, which are then combined and finished for six to nine months in Marsala wine casks.

The Marsala finish gives a whiskey rich in dried fruit and nut flavors. The nose is floral and fruity, with a drop of pear and pineapple and a distinct nutty malt character. Dark chocolate, dried fruit and hazelnut shape the palate, and the finish is crisp and warm, with dried fruit and nuts.
