The 2021 vintage was the first release of this wine, which the winery called a small, inaugural bottling. It is sourced from sites throughout the state chosen for climate, soils and topography suited to Cabernet.

Caymus describes the wine as supple, dark and rich, bearing the signature hallmarks of the house. The winery says the project stems from its excitement over California's diverse vineyard land, often in lesser-known areas, with the potential to produce exceptional Cabernet.
