DAOU Bodyguard Chardonnay is a Chardonnay from DAOU Vineyards and part of the Bodyguard collection, which brothers Georges and Daniel Daou made in tribute to their mother, Marie. For the 2022 vintage the fruit came predominantly from the Los Alamos district, which the winery places in the Santa Maria Valley AVA, and the wine aged 10 months in French and American oak.

Of the 2022 vintage, DAOU notes aromas of jasmine and lemon blossom with quince, green apple and pear over butterscotch and baking spice, a round palate of peach, tropical fruit, Fuji apple and vanilla bean, and buttery notes balanced by fresh acidity on a long finish.
