The Davidoff Aniversario Special R Tubos is a 4⅞ x 50 robusto sealed in its own tube, with an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, made in the Dominican Republic and sold by the single, the 5-pack or the box of 20 from our walk-in humidor at Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits, an official J.C. Newman Diamond Crown Cigar Lounge in Yuma, Arizona.
Davidoff launched the Aniversario line in 1986 to celebrate Zino Davidoff's 80th birthday, and it belongs to the brand's White Band Collection. Davidoff says the Special R takes its name from being a little shorter than most robustos; in the tube it travels well. The Connecticut Shade wrapper covers a Dominican binder and Dominican filler, and Davidoff times it at 45 to 60 minutes.
