The Davidoff Yamasá Piramides is a 6⅛ x 52 pyramid with a shade-grown Dominican Yamasá wrapper, made at Cigars Davidoff in the Dominican Republic and sold by the single, the 5-pack or the box of 12 at Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits, an official J.C. Newman Diamond Crown Cigar Lounge in Yuma, Arizona.
Davidoff introduced Yamasá at the IPCPR trade show in July 2016 as part of its Black Band Collection. The shade-grown wrapper and the San Vicente-seed binder both come from the Yamasá region of the Dominican Republic, red-soil country that Davidoff says took some 20 years of cultivation to master, and the filler combines Dominican Piloto and Mejorado leaf with Nicaraguan tobacco from Condega and Estelí. The Piramides is tapered to a point at the head and is the longest smoke in the line by Davidoff's timing, 60 to 80 minutes.
