Del Maguey Vida Mezcal
Del Maguey Vida Mezcal is a single village mezcal distilled from espadín agave and bottled at 42% ABV (84 proof). It comes from San Luis del Río, a village in the state of Oaxaca, where it is made by palenquero Paciano Cruz Nolasco.
Fermentation is natural, and the mezcal is distilled twice in copper stills heated by wood fire. The bottle now carries the name Vida Clásico on its label, one of three expressions in Del Maguey's Vida Collection alongside Vida Puebla and Vida de Muertos.
At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we pour it by the glass as a single or a double, with bottles to go (750 mL). Our shelf changes as bottles are poured and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
