Don Fulano Añejo Tequila
Don Fulano Añejo Tequila spends at least 30 months in French Limousin oak. It is a 100% blue agave añejo from La Tequileña (NOM 1146) in Tequila, Jalisco.
The spirit is distilled roughly 80% in copper pot stills and 20% in a copper column still before its long rest in wood. Banana bread, warm oak, cardamom, baking spice and vanilla fill the nose. The palate balances baking spice and a dry structure with honey and tropical fruit, and the finish is dry, warm and long on oak.
At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we pour it by the glass as a single or a double, with bottles to go (750 mL). Our shelf changes as bottles are poured and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
