Don Julio 1942 Tequila is an añejo from the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, made in small batches from 100% Blue Weber agave and aged at least 24 months in ex-bourbon American white oak casks. It is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).

The name marks 1942, the year Don Julio González began making tequila. Rich caramel and chocolate lead the nose, warm oak, vanilla and roasted agave follow on the palate, and the finish lingers with oak and rich vanilla.
