Drambuie

Drambuie is a Scotch whisky liqueur, a blend of aged Scotch whisky, heather honey, herbs and spices, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof). The brand is owned by William Grant & Sons, a fifth-generation Scottish family distiller.

A critic's tasting notes find herbal tones and pepper on the nose, then grass, dried hay and flowers, lifted by orange peel and licorice. The palate is sweet, bringing orange, whisky and honey together with herbs, and the finish stays herbal and sweet, a close that returns to the liqueur's honeyed, herbal roots.
