El Jolgorio Espadin Mezcal
El Jolgorio Espadin Mezcal is a mezcal artesanal of espadín agave from the Central Valleys of Oaxaca, made by the Cortés family's Casa Cortés master distillers.
The importer describes espadín as the most prevalent agave species in Mexico, and here it is presented through El Jolgorio's lot-by-lot approach. Each bottling is numbered and lists its mezcalero, village, agave age and bottle count, so the details of the bottle in hand are written on its own label. Strength can also differ from one lot to the next.
