El Septimo VSOP is a VSOP cognac from El Septimo's Magnificent 7 collection, developed with Comandon, a Cognac house founded in 1821. It is produced as a single small batch, and each bottle is individually numbered.

Like every cognac in the collection, it spent eight months in the same barrels El Septimo uses to age its tobacco wrapper leaves.

Dried apricot, candied fig and grilled almond define the nose. The palate follows with dried fruit, ginger and a persistent nuttiness, leading to a silky, medium-bodied finish of fruit and spice.

At Sun of a Gun Cigars & Spirits in Yuma, Arizona, we pour it by the glass as a single or a double, with bottles to go (750 mL). Our shelf changes as bottles are poured and new ones arrive, so call 928-276-3500 to confirm availability, and ask our team for a cigar from the walk-in humidor to pair with it.
